Is it possible to buy a t mobile prepaid Phone and just put your sim card from your old broken t mobile phone?

I have a t mobile phone that broke. I need a new one until my plan runs out and I don't have insurance. I just wanna know If it's possible to buy a prepaid one and not buy any minutes and put my sim card into it.

Yes you can do it. Just insert your existing simcard and you're good to go.

I really need a new phone, but I don't want to renew my contract. If I order a prepaid phone from t-mobile online, and put my sim card in it, will it still work?
If not, would it work if I bought the phone from Target or somewhere?

Yes it should work fine. That was smart avoiding buying a new T Mobile phone since they are merging with Att and you would be held hostage to a contract.

My T mobile prepaid phone broke.So I was wondering if I go to the T mobile store and buy a new phone that ISN'T prepaid but I buy it for its regular price(no plan). Could I put my prepaid sim card into that phone that I bought? Please answer.
